MORE ROMANTIC PLACES IN CROATIA WORTH VISITING
There are many more romantic places in Croatia that are worth visiting. Were ever you decided to go along the Adriatic coast, you’ll be enchanted with crystal clear sea, endless pine forests, beautiful beaches and delicious food.
For me, especially romantic are small seaside towns which maintain the spirit of times past long ago.
Also, I find Istria region very alluring and attractive. Couples who have already visited Dubrovnik and major Croatian cities, might benefit from a trip in which they immerse themselves in Croatian life.
For example, you can rent a house in Istria with a private pool. It’s just what you need for a secret escape with your loved one. Or you can choose to sail in the Kvarner region and visit Lošinj island, also known as one of the top romantic places in Croatia.
Furthermore, Croatia is full of natural wonders that can take romance on a whole new level. Spectacular chain of 16 terraced lakes and cascading waterfalls of Plitvice lakes or surreal Stinva beach on mystic Vis island; all need to be seen to be believed.
If you can see it together, then special memories of that shared experience will stay with you for many more years to come.
Travel tip : If you wondering how to say I love You in Croatian, it’s – Volim Te. I wrote a post for visitors to easily learn Croatian phrases.

In short, if you are anything like me, you’ll find romance everywhere in Croatia, beyond the most popular romantic spots listed above.
For instance, there is a less-known beach Oštro in Kvarner region, near the place I live, that is very special to me. That moment when the golden sunlight hits the lighthouse near Kraljevica, remains vivid in my memory.
